A century ago, Queen Lili'uokalani, the last Hawaiian monarch, inherited the lands at Hamohamo, the area in which the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort now stands. Here she retreated to relax and informally entertain family, friends, and on occasion, visiting royalty. The resort offers guests deluxe accommodations for a great value. The newly opened Spa Olakino * Salon is a 6,000 sq. ft. full-service spa created and managed by world-renowned hair stylist and developer of the Hawaii branded hair care products, Paul Brown. Spa Olakino * Salon is independently owned and is operated by Paul Brown and his team.

The world-class spa is located on the second floor of the Kealohilani Tower, overlooking famed Waikiki Beach. An abundance of fresh Hawaii-grown papaya, Kona coffee beans, aloe vera and other exotic plants and fruits are blended and concocted right before your eyes and then lathered on as a face or body spa treatment.

Every one of our treatments uses only Hawaiian products and is made right on location when you arrive for your treatment.

Ke Kai (The Sea)
Sea Salts from our beautiful oceans exfoliate dead skin and leave your body soft and glowing. A Hawaiian spirulina wrap detoxifies and nourishes your body. The combination of these two treatments will leave you in tune with the healing properties of the sea. (2 hrs)

Na La'au (Traditional Plants)
Lomi Lomi massage performed with an infusion of Kukui nut oil and Awapuhi-kauiwi (wild ginger) help relieve pain and increase circulation. A Noni and Ti leaf body wrap follows to strengthen the immune system and releases toxins. (2 hrs)

Sunburn Relief
Green tea and aloe body wrap followed by a gentle massage using Noni, Kukui nut and lavender oil. Asian and Hawaiian influences are mixed together to calm the stinging effect and bring relief from the sun's harmful rays. (1½ hrs)

Euro Asian Treatment
Thai massage to increase flexibility, followed by a lemongrass and honey body glow to exfoliate dead skin, leaving your body smooth and soft. This treatment ends with a Pesto body wrap to nourish and detoxify your body. (2½ hrs)

Olakino Experience
An all-day affair starting with a foot wash using warm mineral water, Hawaiian salt and peppermint oil. Next, you will enjoy our signature Magic Island massage (Thai massage, Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi and reflexology in one massage) using an infusion of grape seed oil and Awapuhi-kauiwi (wild ginger). A pineapple and papaya enzyme body scrub follows the massage. Our Aloe and Hawaiian spirulina wrap ends your body treatment, leaving a relaxing aromatherapy facial to end your experience. A healthy lunch and a champagne cocktail are included in this service. (4 hrs)

Lomi Lomi Massage
A relaxing and therapeutic massage performed with an infusion of Aromatherapy oils. Experience this Hawaiian tradition for aches and pains. (50 min or 80 min)

'Awa, Honey and Milk Wrap
Hawaiians have used the 'Awa root for centuries to ease aches and pains. A combination of 'Awa, milk and honey will sooth your pain and soften your skin. (50 min)

Hawaiian Noni Facial
Utilizing the healing properties of Kukui nut oil and Noni to relieve the stinging effects of sunburn. Relax and enjoy a facial massage using healing Noni gel to receive the benefits of this well-known Hawaiian plant. (1 hr)

Papaya Pineapple Facial
Benefit from the Alpha Hydroxyl in our fruits of Hawaii. Pineapple and papaya will leave your skin soft and smooth. (1 hr)

Honi (Kiss) Couple's Package
Share the experience with someone special. A massage for two performed with a blend of exotic oils, followed by a luxurious honey, milk and 'Awa wrap. Pedicures for you both complete this package. A healthy lunch and champagne cocktail are included. (3½ hrs)
